A little bit about Princess Leia

Princess Leia’s full name was Princess Leia Organa.  Her character was from the first series of Star Wars films, which graced our movie screens back in May 1977.   Carrie Fisher was the actress who was luck enough to be cast as Princess Leia.  If you watched the full series of Star Wars, including the Prequels and the Sequels, then we learn that Princess Leia is actually the twin sister of Luke Skywalker, which means she is the daughter of Darth Vadar!

As the movie series evolved, we learned that Prince Leia’s mother was Queen Padmé Amidala, who has some incredible looking costumes herself!  Back in 2008, Empire Magazine selected Princess Leia as one of “The 100 Greatest Movie Characters of All Time“.
